Sword Fight~

Another work for school.

Blinding sparks,

Glancing blows,

Fancy footwork,

Skill exposed.

Agile artwork,

Steel on steel,

Sword in hand,

Death they wield.

Fight for breath,

Pounding heart.

Dance of death,

They duck and dart.

Fleet of foot,

Eyes alert.

Poised to strike,

And parries avert.

Weathered assassin

Trained to kill

Tests on the prince

His malevolent will.

Armored young lad,

Son of the king,

Fights for his life,

Counters each swing.

Good against evil,

Light versus dark,

Bird before dragon,

Slice sweeping arc.
