What is more precious than a baby,
With eyes of tender blue?
And round cheeks that compel me to maybe
Place upon a kiss or two?
Whose sweet little laugh
Lifts high my spirit,
So that I would give all that I have
To once more hear it?
Whose presence is liken unto Heaven,
An angel he could be.
So I ask you once again,
What is more precious than a baby?

ReplyDeleteHmmm..."you were the meanest baby I ever knew..." Which just goes to show, we musn't predict a person by her first 11 months. I know I never did, and I was right. If there is one thing I hope you gain from witnessing my ordeals, it is that they are inconsequential compared to the need to have my babies in my home, in my life, being my life, all the time.
ReplyDeleteNothing is better than a baby, nothing! I have a 4 mouth old sister and shes so cute, I guess you have a few babies that you've seen in your family.
