God puts people
In our lives
All for a purpose...
Some lift up,
Some teach lessons,
Others hurt us.
In those times
When your heart aches
Remember to learn.
Don't let one person
Rip you down-
Yet remember the burn:
Grow stronger,
Grow wiser,
Know whom to trust.
Lean on those
Who truly love you...
Watch shadows turn to dust.
